Although Sweden’s Samariten company had won a public tender to provide ambulance serviceson Denmark’s capital island, it is now withdrawing from the project, according to DR. Samariten said it had been let down by the investors who were to have provided funding for its purchases of new ambulances.
Cannot raise funds Social Democratic Spokesman Tommy Kamp confirmed that Samariten had given up the project as the company cannot raise the necessary funds.
