The latest DI forecast for the Danish economy makes gloomy reading. DI forecasts negative growth of 1.9 percent in 2009 levelling off at 0.3 percent, but still in minus territory, in 2010.
"The reason for our pessimistic view of growth is because as a small open economy, Denmark is hard hit by negative growth in all of our primary export markets," says DI Deputy CEO Ole Krog.
