The Danish clipper CEC Future and its 13-man crew have been released following the payment of an undisclosed ransom to Somali pirates, according to Clipper Projects CEO Pr Gullestrup.

The vessel is currently under Russian escort, making way to the port of Salalah in Oman from where the crew of the vessel will be flown home.
