Researchers across the world have long been looking for definitive answers as to what causes cot death. New Danish-Australian research, however, may have provided yet another small clue as to causes, with research suggesting that cot death may have something to do with where infants sleep.
"We can see that there are differences in the ways that infants die when they sleep in their own beds and when they sleep in their parents' beds. The reasons for the differences, however, are not immediately apparent," says Medical Examiner Lisbeth Lund Jensen of the Forensic University at Århus University.
