A 55-year-old Danish woman is to appeal her sentence of 15 years in prison for attempting to mail 10,761 codein pills, which are legal in Cambodia, out of the country.

The head of Denmark's representative office in Cambodia says he has investigated whether it is possible to appeal the sentence under Cambodian law.
