Danmarks Nationalbank may have reduced its rates by 1.35 percent over the past six months, but for Mr. and Ms. Denmark it has meant little – banks have not followed suit, and in fact have raised interest rates.

Interest rates for those customers with the highest rates have risen by 0.6 percent, while those with the lowest interest rates have seen theirs increase by 0.37 percent, according to calculations by Dinepenge.dk on the basis of a survey from the Mybanker analysts.
