In 2008, Danish postmen and women handed out some 3,000 boxes – or 25 tonnes of biscuits to demanding dogs, in order to let them deliver the mail without having to face scary bared canines.
“Dog biscuits are a good way of protecting our employees against being bitten. Dogs are easier to handle when they’re given a treat,” PostDanmark Safety Manager Ebbe Andersen tells Ritzau.
