The Dutch MP Geert Wilders may have been invited to the United Kingdom by a member of the House of Lords, but British authorities have told him to stay out of the country because he is seen as being a threat to public order.

Wilders, who was due to go to London tomorrow, received a letter on Tuesday from the British ambassador to the Netherlands telling him that he was not welcome, reportedly because his visit would constitute a threat to public order.
