A majority of Danes believe that the current economic situation is worse than a year ago, and that it will be even worse in a year’s time, according to the latest figures from Statistics Denmark.
“There has been a lot of news of layoffs and discussions about bank rescue packages, growth packages and tax reforms, so it’s not strange that a clear majority feel that Denmark’s economic situation is worse than a year ago,” says Danske Bank Private Economy Head Las Olsen.
