Scandlines, which runs two major ferry links in Denmark, has announced it is to lay off some 400 employees due to the financial crisis and falling passenger figures that are expected to continue to fall in 2009, according to a report on DPA.
A Scandlines spokesman says that the market has changed dramatically in the past few months.
