The government's tax reform package has hit a hurdle in the form of demands by the Danish Peoples Party (DPP) to abolish its proposals for a reduction in high-end tax rates.

Prior to this afternoon’s negotiations with the DPP, Finance Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen says that lowering high-end tax rates from 15 percent to 13.5 percent is central to the government's plan.
