Both the Danish People’s Party and the independent MP Naser Khader want an invitation to be sent to the controversial Dutch politician Geert Wilders to take part in a conference on Islam and the freedom of speech which is to be held this spring in Copenhagen, according to Jyllands-Posten.
“If the Danish People’s Party wants to invite Geert Wilders, that’s fine for me. I have planned to invite Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and she hasn’t said much that is unlike Wilders,” says Naser Khader who put forward the idea for the conference.
