Young Danes have a tendency to drink themselves out of their minds when they travel south in the summer according to a new report – the first of its kind to map how much teenagers drink when they travel with companies that have specialized in party travel.
“The young people know that it’s unhealthy and dangerous. But they shrug their shoulders because they have fun when they drink,” says Anthropologist Sébastien Tutenges of the Aarhus University Centre for Alcohol Research.
