After five days of negotiations, the Liberal-Conservative minority government has reached agreement with its parliamentary safety net, The Danish People’s Party, on a tax reform.

The contours of the reform are a reduction in low earnings tax rates of 1.5 percent, abolition of the middle rate tax and a marginal increase in the earnings ceiling before top rate tax kicks in.
