Two police officers were wounded in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen during the night after a mentally unbalanced former soldier attacked them with a knife and sword. The 32-year-old was shot and died of his wounds.
Both officers have wounds to the head but are said to be in a stable condition and not in danger of their lives. They are expected to be questioned about the incident later today.
