The Danish warship Absalon, which is currently on anti-piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden, Saturday helped chase off pirates who had tried to hi-jack the Vietnamese-flagged Diamond Falcon in the Gulf of Aden, according to Admiral Danish Fleet Headquarters.
According to the reports, pirates in two fast skiffs had fired at the vessel’s bridge, breaking all windows, although none of the officers or crew of the vessel were hurt.
