From Monday, Copenhageners, tourists and visitors will be able to use the Copenhagen Metro 24 hours per day, every day of the week – and not just have night availability at the weekends, according to P4 Copenhagen.
The Copenhagen Metro has been designed to run 24-7, but has hitherto not run on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between midnight and 5 a.m. due to a lack of maintenance and safety schedules in keeping all 34 trains running throughout. 24-hour service has been reserved for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
