Copenhagen is to have a new Lord Mayor following November’s local elections as Ritt Bjerregaard (SocDem) has decided not to stand, according to politiken.dk’s information.
Ritt Bjerregaard swooped into the Lord Mayor’s office in 2005 with some 60,000 personal votes and promises to build some 5,000 new properties in the capital which would cost DKK 5,000 per month.
