One of the largest business ventures for Danish industry in recent years has been temporarily stopped by the American drug authorities.
Novo Nordisk, which claims its Victoza drug is a ‘blockbuster’, has been declined the release of the drug by an expert committee under the American Food and Drug Administration. Victoza has been developed to combat diabetes and obesity.
