The Copenhagen Police Women Trafficking Group raided several Copenhagen brothels during the night in an operation targeted mainly at Nigerian prostitutes, according to Deputy Chief Superintendant Ove Dahl.
The combined operation began shortly before midnight and a total of 14 women have been detained by the police. It remains unclear whether some of those detained are to appear in remand hearings on charges of trafficking or pimping.
