Denmark’s new prime minister is planning an extensive reform of the central administration, splitting up the Welfare Ministry into a Home Affairs and Housing Ministry and a Social Affairs and Equality Ministry and axing the Integration and Research ministries, according to Berlingske Tidende.
Welfare Minister Karen Jespersen announced on Friday that she was resigning, claiming her ministry was too large.
