As of nine o’clock this morning all home owners and tenants have been able to seek funds to renovate their homes from the government’s DKK 1.5 billion Renovation Fund, which is designed, among other initiatives, to get the building industry moving again.
The Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority has called in an extra 50 people to handle applications, which can be made on the Internet. The Authority expects that between 100,000 and 120,000 Danes will receive funds, which will be allocated on a first past the post basis.
