There is some indication that those who have used the illegal thepiratebay.org website to download free music illegally may actually have stimulated sales of legal music on the Internet according to a Norwegian survey which shows that pirates are the best customers on iTunes and other legal music sites.
The survey concludes that those who download music free of charge and illegally, are also the biggest customers of pay-for-music sites, according to Aftenposten.no.
