A broad majority in parliament is supporting a proposal from former prime minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen to develop a veterans policy in order to get more supoprt for handicapped soldiers and their relatives, according to Berlingske Tidende.

Liberal Defence Spokesman Karsten Nonbo says he will be discussing the issue with the other parties of the Defence Agreement, but the Social Democratic Party, the Socialist People's Party and the Danish People's Party have already expressed their support.
