Only a miracle can save the Lindø Wharf on the island of funen, with A.P. Møller closer than ever to shutting the shipbuilder down and axing 3,000 jobs, according to Børsen.
Børsen says that a decision on the future of the yard, which if closed would be one of Denmark’s biggest closures, is expected to be made before the summer vacations – but new orders will be necessary if a closure is to be avoided.
