A report in Information suggests that the Danish Transport Minister Lars Barfoed will be presenting a settlement today with the Italian mass transport producer AnsaldoBreda that may wipe out the supplier’s profit on IC4 trains for Denmark.
The trains should have been in service in Denmark several years ago, but a series of technical problems had delayed most of the trains from being put into service.
