As the government’s bill to remove ministerial diaries from the Freedom of Information Act begins its second reading today, the chairmen of the five Danish regions say they too want to keep their activities away from the public eye.

Under the new rules, which are assured a majority in Parliament, journalists and the general public will no longer be guaranteed access on demand to registered ministerial activities.
