The government is losing ground to the opposition in the latest Megafon poll for Politiken and TV2, with opposition parties likely to win a small majority if an election were held today.

The poll shows the government Liberal and Conservative parties and their parliamentary safety net the Danish People’s Party winning 49.6 percent of the vote, while the Social Democratic Party and the rest of the opposition garners 50.4 percent.
