With all of the votes counted in Denmark’s European Parliament elections, the Socialist People’s Party and the Danish People’s Party emerged as victors, both winning an extra seat to give them two seats each in the European Parliament where Denmark has 13 seats.
For two other parties, the election was a farewell to representation – the Social Liberal Party lost its one seat, as did the EU-sceptic June Movement, according to final figures published by the national broadcaster DR..
