The economic crisis and layoffs have meant that an increasing number of families are unable to pay their bills, with cases mounting up in Denmark’s Bailiff Courts.
In 2009’s first quarter, 105,452 families have been through the bailiff’s court – an increase of 28,000 or 36 percent on the same period in 2008.
