Denmark’s Foreign Minister Per Stig Møller says the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech, in which he accepts the principle of a Palestinian state, is ‘a step forward compared to what we had feared’.
“It is good that he now confirms the two-state solution. That is something that has been questionable. It is also good that he says that there won’t be any more settlements. That is the start of being able to dismantle them – and that is a major step,” says Stig Møller during an EU foreign minister summit in Luxembourg.
