The opposition, supported by Justice Minister Brian Mikkelsen (Cons), is suggesting that thousands of Danes who were registered by the Danish Intelligence and Security Service from 1950 to 1989 due to their political affiliations, should be allowed to study their dossiers.
The demands come following the publication on Wednesday of a PET Commission report showing that between 250,000 and 300,000 individuals were registered in the mid-60s.
