Denmark's strict rules on immigrant family reunions do not run contrary to European Commission guidelines, according to an EU spokesman.
Speaking to Jyllands-Posten, EU Commissioner for Justice, Freedom and Security Jacques Barrot's spokesman Michel Cerone says none of the current practices in the EU's 27 member countries run contrary to the Commission's new guildeines.
