The exiled leader of China’s Uighurs says that without help from the West her people will never achieve freedom and democracy.
“The position of Western countries is vital. They must condemn China’s abuses and the most recent brutality against the Uighurs,” says World Uighur Congress President Rebiya Kadeer who is currently based in exile in the United States.
