Denmark’s Vestas still expects favourable winds to gust into its blades in 2009, despite the recession and recent layoffs.
“In spite of the weak order intake since the onset of the credit crisis, Vestas retains its forecast for 2009,” the company says in its report for the second quarter of 2009.
