Former Finance Minister Mogens Lykketoft (Soc.Dem.) is accusing the government of attempting to control the budget debate by removing central figures from copies presented in advance to members of the Parliamentary Finance Committee.
Finance Minister Claus Hjort Frederiksen is due to present the budget later today, but in copies of the budget that are traditionally provided to Finance Committee members in advance, central figures have been removed, seemingly in order to prevent leaks to the media.
