It remains unclear why five of the 22 Iraqi nationals, whose asylum requests had been denied by Denmark and who were forcibly repatriated earlier this week, remain under arrest at Baghdad Airport.

News of the arrests has reached Politiken from various sources, including one of the other deported Iraqis who has continued his journey to northern Iraq with 14 others.
