The Social Democratic and the Socialist People’s parties are demanding an inquiry into the handover by Denmark of Afghan prisoners to U.S. forces after a long-lost memorandum from the Judge Advocate’s office has appeared.

The government and Defence Ministry have previously said that the memorandum, which warns the government that the United States does not live up to normal international obligations on the treatment of prisoners-of-war, had been lost.
