Figures from the office of the National Commissioner and the Ministry of Integration show that the number of refugees currently seeking asylum in Denmark is the greatest since 2003, according to Berlingske Tidende.
The tendency has been confirmed by the Immigration Service, the Danish Refugee Council and the Danish Red Cross.
