A majority in Denmark’s Ethics Council says that there is a major risk that the foetal examinations of the future will result in ‘extensive genetic hygiene practices’.
Ten of the 17 members of the Council are proposing stricter rules on what characteristics a foetus can be tested for prior to the termination limit of the 12th week of pregnancy.
