It’s now some six years ago that a creative chef and gastronomic adventurer Mette Sia Martinussen re-thought the idea of private dining with the 1.th. restaurant, designed to give guests the experience of coming to dinner in a private home.
Ring the bell, through the gates, up the stairs and your hostess is at the door welcoming you and taking your coats in the hallway. Then it’s into the sitting room for drinks, snacks and a toast with the other guests before the doors open into the dining room and seating for a good dinner with courses such as Limfjord oysters with a lukewarm sherry vinegar vinaigrette and Limfjord Stout.
