Climate Minister Connie Hedegaard, who is in the midst of final preparations for the U.N. Climate Summit in Copenhagen (COP15) in December, has been urgently called to Brussels to take part in a meeting of sernior politicians of the European People’s Party (EPP).
According to Parliament’s Secretariat, Hedegaard, who was to have proposed a Bill in Parliament today, has asked to have it removed from the Parliamentary agenda after having been ’called to Brussels at short notice’.
