For the first time, our editorial column applauds a speech given by Russia’s President Medvedev.
Previously we have criticised Medvedev. Not so much for what he has done, but rather for what he has not done to fulfil his many promises to develop Russia into a society based on the Rule of Law and with respect for the human rights of all of its citizens.
