Four senior government ministers have been driving around in ministerial BMWs without their ministries having paid VAT on the vehicles, according to B.T.
As a result, ministers Lars Løkke Rasmussen (Lib), Lene Espersen (Cons), Brian Mikkelsen (Cons) and Claus Hjort Frederiksen (Lib) were driving around Denmark in illegal cars – an offence that would normally cost a fine or 18 months behind bars.
