Denmark’s Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (Lib) is calling for a pause in reforms of the European Union now that the Lisbon Treaty seems likely to finally pass through all EU countries.
””This is a long trip that is being brought to its conclusion. It is important now that we have a pause in reforms,” Løkke Rasmussen says in the wake of Thursday nights announcement by EU leaders that a compromise has been reached that will allow Czech President Vaclav Klaus to sign off on the treaty.
