Today’s 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall cannot be celebrated enough.
But it is also a day that encourages reflection on what remains to be done in order to create a truly united Europe. In this, much more remains than we expected on this day of euphoria. Or rather days – for there are many anniversaries in connection with the downfall of Communism in Europe.
