The Liberal-Conservative government and the Danish People’s Party reached agreement overnight on the 2010 budget, which includes a new super-hospital in Western Jutland, although the location of the hospital remains to be finally determined.
The issue of the hospital has dogged negotiations between the three parties for a couple of days, but a solution has now been found, under which all of the country’s regions must develop plans to ensure services to outlying regions, after which a final decision will be made.
