The Social Democrats and the Liberals seem likely to sweep into most mayoral posts in Tuesday’s local council elections according to a new election forecast in Mandag Morgen.
The forecast, carried out by Århus University Electoral Researcher Søren Risbjerg Thomsen, gives the two parties 90 local council mayoral seats, leaving only eight for other parties. Other parties currently command 17 mayors.
