An officer of the Central and Western Zealand Police Force shot a young man who attempted to drive into two officers. The driver later died of his wounds.
The incident took place shortly after midnight when police were called to a parking area in Kalundborg where a person was seen shining a torch into vehicles. When two officers arrived at the scene and tried to stop a vehicle, the car drove straight at them. One of the two officers shot at the vehicle which shortly after hit a wall in central Kalundborg.
