The Danish Tax Authority is currently passing on reams of economic crimes cases to police prosecutors, but many of the cases get stuck in the system due to too few resources and qualified staff.

The Tax Authority Department for Economic Crime has sent 102 cases on to public prosecutors already this year, but to date only some 28 have reached a conclusion.
